Keystone Raised $2690.00 for Alex’s Lemonade in Honor of Kayla Danzi

As many of you are aware, Keystone Juniors strives to raise awareness and money for various charities each year. Along with constantly teaching the game of volleyball, we also want to teach about life and giving back to those who are less fortunate.

This year, we chose to take on a new task - raise money and awareness regarding Childhood Cancer. On Saturday, May 16th, Keystone Juniors held a Volleyball Marathon to benefit Childhood Cancer at Notre Dame Academy (Villanova, PA) .

Everyone who attended had a great time! We were able to raise $2690.00 for Alex's Lemonade in Honor of Kayla Danzi. We can not thank everyone enough. We received so much help and support for this great cause.

Thank you to all the parents from Keystone Juniors for their donations of food and beverages.

Special Thanks to the following with their generosity, help and support:

  • Keystone Juniors 15s
  • Keystone Juniors 14s
  • Jill & Al Urso
  • Bill Streicher
  • Stephanie Johnson
  • Karen Ranson
  • Mary Sweeney

  • PVA
  • Notre Dame Volleyball Team
  • Sacred Heart & Mystique Volleyball Players

We would also like to recognize the following businesses making generous donations:

  • Swiss Farms
  • Pretzel Boys (Broomall, PA)
  • Giant Food Stores (Broomall & Plymouth Meeting)

Of course, we couldn't of pulled this off without special help from Mike Sheridan & Notre Dame Academy. Their overwhelming generosity and support made this event possible.

Thank you to everyone.

We are looking forward to making more money in 2010!
