After being knocked out in playoffs by Synergy 12 Rox Orange in their first tournament, the Keystone Juniors U-12 Premier team had another chance to face them in the finals at the Bulldog Clash held at DeSales University on Saturday, March 22nd.

After defeating Crosscourt 12 Purple in semi-finals (25-13, 25-17), the Keystone Juniors outlasted Synergy in a tight match (25-23, 20-25, 15-12).

Overall, the Keystone Juniors outscored their opponents 305-205. Setters, Gia D'Antonio, Lindsey Fagan, and Ireland Giaquinto, combined for 44 assists. Hitters, Olivia Bertoline, Grace Clark, Sara McDougall, and Gabby McGinn, collectively had 62 kills. The defense, Emily Collins and Brynn Pippett, combined for 35 digs (and posted 1 kill each). Kudos to Gabby McGinn for posting a .524 hitting percentage.  A shout out to Sara McDougall for serving 41 aces. An extra special shout to Emily Collins who was injured in the second set of the championship match. After sitting out the third set, she was called on to serve with the score tied 11-11. She came off the bench and served back to back aces. Emily also had the last dig to setter Ireland Giaquinto, who put it up to OH Olivia Bertoline for the game winning kill. This is the second GOLD medal finish for the Keystone Juniors U-12 Premier team. Great job girls!!
