Hello Keystone Jrs

     My name is Brian Bernatowicz and I help coach the 17's.  Brenda thought it would be a good idea to gather some non-statistical info from coaches after our tournaments.  After 20 years of playing, reffing and organizing volleyball this has been my first true coaching experience.  The MLK tournament was truly a learning experience for me.  It was a whole new perspective for me.

    The first thing I want to point out is how our girls played like a TEAM.  Believe me when I tell you that over the years I have seen many teams at all levels not play as a TEAM.  Throughout the three days,  I watched as our girls supported each other after good plays and even after a few bad ones.  Being a ref,  I always have concern about having kids helping out as a work team.  It is easy for them not to take this responsibility seriously.  Our girls did a great job and a number of parents from opposing teams remarked on how they appreciated having a good work team.  So overall it was a great experience and I look forward to many more.
