Congratulations to the Keystone Juniors U-13 Premier team for winning a U-14 tournament at Volleyball Corner in Lancaster, PA on Valentine’s Day. They split their first two pool play matches against J-Stroke Jive and Central Penn Chargers. In a must win situation, Keystone Juniors U-13 defeated Prevail Black in both sets to earn 2nd Place in pool play.

In playoffs, Keystone Juniors U-13 was pitted against top-seed CPVBC. In a very exciting match, the U-13’s played superb defense to win both sets (25-17, 25-15). L/DS Maddie Donaphon and Emily Collins combined for 31 digs to place the U-13’s into the championship match.

The championship game saw Keystone Juniors U-13’s playing the Central Penn Chargers, a team they split with earlier during pool play. Setter Lindsey Fagan earned the first five service points and the Keystone Juniors never looked back. They soundly won the championship match (25-16, 25-17).

In this total team effort, the Keystone Juniors U-13’s served 40 aces on the day. Led by L/DS Emily Collins and Maddie Donaphon, the team had 68 digs. Setters Sammi Chambers, Lindsey Fagan, and Ireland Giaquinto earned 37 assists. Our offense, OH Olivia Bertoline, Lauren Garvey, MB Gabby McGinn, and MB/RS Sara McDougall and Riley Shaak, combined for 46 kills.
