Congratulations to the Keystone Jrs. U-13 Premier team for earning 2nd Place in their first tournament of the season, the Mid-Winter Classic held at the Spooky Nook Complex. This finish was a total team effort, with all players making significant contributions throughout pool play and playoffs.

Behind the consistent serving of MB/RS Sara McDougall, the Keystone Jrs. U-13 defeated EC Power Denim, Total Evolution VB Club, and West Shore YMCA to earn first place in pool play.

In playoffs, Keystone Jrs. U-13 defeated Infinity Black in quarterfinals, Ballyhoo Crew in semifinals, before falling to EC Power Denim in the championship game.  Unfortunately, due to impending bad weather, all playoff matches were limited to one game to 25.

Our offense, made up of OH Olivia Bertoline and Lauren Garvey, MB Gabby McGinn, MB/RS Sara McDougall and Riley Shaak, combined for 42 kills. They totaled 11 kills against TEVA during pool play. Setters, Ireland Giaquinto, Sammi Chambers, and Lindsey Fagan combined for 37 assists on the day, including 8 against TEVA during pool play. Our defense, L/DS Emily Collins and Maddie Donaphon, combined for 44 digs on the day. They had 15 against Ballyhoo Crew during the semifinal game.  The entire team combined for 84 aces throughout the tournament.  Great job, girls!!!
