  1. Register & Attend Open Gym (not required)
  2. Register with USAV / KRVA to obtain your membership number. 
  3. Register online with Keystone Juniors for tryouts.
  4. Pay for Keystone Juniors Tryouts. 
  5. Bring USAV Medical Form to tryouts. 
  6. Complete Covid-19 Self-Assessment Form 2 hours prior to tryouts. 

2020-2021 Player Medical Release Form

This form needs to be completed and handed in at tryouts. We will be keeping this form. If your child makes the team, we will hold this form to use during the season.


12U: Terry Briggs Coppa & Phil Coppa

Terry Briggs Coppa is entering her 5th year coaching at Keystone Juniors. She is also a certified NCAA/ PAVO official. Terry has played volleyball for Archbishop Carroll High School winning a Catholic League Championship her Senior year as well as played for Keystone Juniors Volleyball Club. Terry also coached at Academy of Notre Dame as an Assistant Varsity Coach. 

Phil Coppa is entering his 4th year as an assistant at Keystone Juniors. Phil is also a certified NCAA/ PAVO line judge and scorekeeper. 


Brooke Ferguson played 4 years of volleyball for Archbishop Prendergast High School followed by 4 years of club volleyball at Bloomsburg University. Brooke was an assistant coach for Keystone Juniors 15s  for one year before being promoted to a head coaching position, having coached the 14s, 16s and most recently the 13s. Brooke has been the longtime volleyball coach of Holy Cross CYO in Springfield.

Briana DiLeonardo played 4 years of volleyball for Archbishop Prendergast High School earning All Catholic honors followed by a successful career at Harcum Junior College. Briana has been an assistant coach for Keystone Juniors for 4 years, having coached the 14s, 15s and 16s and most recently the 13s. Briana has been the longtime assistant coach of Holy Cross CYO in Springfield as well as the current Freshman Team and Assistant Varsity Coach at Cardinal O’Hara since 2018.


Arden Vizzard played volleyball for 12 years which includes being a four year starter at Immaculata University after being a 4 year starter and standout player at Haverford High School. Arden played for Keystone Juniors Volleyball Club during both her grade school and high school years. She has been an assistant coach for Keystone Juniors 13U & 14U club teams and has helped coach both the Junior Developmental Program as well as summer camps for Keystone Juniors. Arden is currently, coaching at Cardinal O’Hara High School as the JV coach and an assistant Varsity coach. 

Ashley Dolan was a 3 year starter at Springfield High School, earning All Delco honors her Junior and Senior year. She has worked for Keystone Juniors in the past as a clinician at both the Junior Developmental program and various summer camps. Ashley is a Keystone Juniors Alumni having played here during her High School years. Ashley is currently a freshman at West Chester University.


Rachel Powers is entering her third year coaching at Keystone Juniors. In addition to coaching at Keystone, Rachel is the head coach for perennial Central League power Strath Haven High School. Before coaching, Rachel played volleyball for ten years on various teams including being the starting setter for Strath Haven High School and West Chester University. 

Erica Engler is entering her third year coaching at Keystone. Erica has also coached at Strath Haven High School prior to getting married. She started playing volleyball when she was 10, and was a star player at  both Padua Academy and West Chester University. 


Jamie Gallagher is entering her second year coaching with Keystone Juniors as well as Strath Haven High School. Jamie played at Cardinal O'Hara High School, earning Catholic League MVP and All State her Senior year. Jamie is currently playing in an adult leagues throughout the year.

Megan Rasnake has been playing volleyball for about 15 years! From Saint Dorothy's to Cardinal O'Hara High School all the way to the West Chester Club Team, Meg was elected President her senior year! Last year was Meg’s first year coaching for Keystone Juniors and she is really looking forward to another season. 


Alexis Capers is a senior at Spelman College studying political science. While at Spelman College, she coached for the 14 Travel team at Rio Volleyball Club and the 17 National Team at Upward Stars South Atlanta Volleyball Club.  She transferred to Spelman College after completing her first year at Lafayette College playing on the volleyball team as their starting middle blocker. She led the team in blocks for their 2017 season. Prior to Lafayette College, she played for both East Coast Power Volleyball Club and Synergy Volleyball Club. Alexis is a welcome addition and is happy to be a part of the Keystone Juniors coaching staff!

Paul Bonsall is entering her 6th year at Keystone Juniors. Paula has coached for the past 8 years at the CYO level, having coached both JV and Varsity for St. Francis de Sales and St. Thomas the Apostle. Paula has been the Head Coach for the 12s, 14s and 15s as well as the assistant coach for the 13s and 14s. Paula played for St. Maria Goretti in High School as well as for Cabrini College during her college years.


Bill Collins is entering his 24th year coaching club. After coaching for 2 different clubs locally, Bill, along with his wife Brenda, founded Keystone Juniors back in 2004. Bill played club volleyball for Drexel University, is currently the Director of Volleyball for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and has been the Head Coach for Cardinal O’Hara Women’s program since 2008, having won 9 District 12 Championships and 10 PIAA State Tournament appearances in ten years. Bill was named Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Coach of the Year in 2005. Bill is also a certified PIAA, USA and NCAA/PAVO official.

Warren Keir is entering his 11th year coaching Club Volleyball and his 9th year with Keystone Juniors.  Warren has coached CYO Volleyball for St. Joseph's in Aston for 13 years having won numerous regional championships and local tournaments as well as routinely advancing deep in the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Tournament.


In order to participate in tryouts, every athlete MUST have an active KRVA membership or a tryout membership with KRVA . For more information on how to get a tryout membership, please visit the KRVA website here. Once at this page, scroll down to athlete tryout. Once you click on the link that says Athlete Tryout ($15) it will lead you through to sign up and purchase. Please bring this with you to tryouts or enter your active USAV number into the registration form field in the Keystone Juniors online tryout registration form. 


Register for Keystone Juniors Club Tryouts

Registration for Club Tryouts with Keystone Juniors is done online! This will make it easier for you when arrive. Select Club Tryouts 2020-2021 CLUB TRYOUTS (Link above). You will be then be placed on a log in page. If you already set up your account on our website then you can proceed by logging in with your username and password. If you are new to our site, then please click on Create one here under the Login Help section.

After you have logged into your account, you will be directed to the Keystone Club Tryout registration page. Follow the simple steps and please make sure you complete all required fields. You will receive an email if you completed your registration correctly. Your USAV Member ID is mandatory to complete these forms online. Please make sure you register with KRVA prior to registering with our club tryouts!

There are three options to pay for tryouts.
• Pay Online - after you register for tryouts – on our secure site with a credit card. Please keep in mind that you will need to cover credit card fees if paying with a credit card.
• You can also register online and mail your payment of $45.00 to Keystone Juniors c/o Brenda & Bill Collins, 66 Woodlawn Avenue, Broomall, PA 19008. Please make check payable to Keystone Juniors Volleyball.
• Pay via VENMO: $45.00 Brenda Collins @keystonejuniors. Need to place age and players name in the comments. 
Regardless of your payment option, please bring your receipt (emailed) with you at tryouts when checking in.
Hopefully you will find this process much easier than trying to register at tryouts!

Day of Tryouts

On the day of tryouts, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tryouts so the participant can check-in and receive her shirt for tryouts.
Please make sure you bring the following copies to Tryouts:

1. Copy of KRVA Membership Card or Email Receipt of Tryout Confirmation with KRVA. 
2. USAV Medical Form (link above). We are collecting these! Please complete in detail. If you play for Keystone Juniors, we will be using this form for the season. 
3. Copy of the registration receipt from Keystone Juniors.
4. Due to Covid-19, we are limiting collecting anything at tryouts. We would prefer all payment will be either credit card, mail prior or venmo. 

After tryouts get started, we will hold an informative meeting for the parents. We will discuss club tournaments, practices, as well as cost and club policies. We will also be able to answer all of your questions regarding our club or our coaches.
Towards the end of the tryout, we will have a brief meeting with the players. This meeting will educate the players on how the tryouts will work and timeframe on decisions.

After Tryouts

After tryouts have concluded, the coaches will have the difficult job selecting only 10 players for the team. This is never easy!

KRVA Rule - no offer will be allowed to go out until 7:00pm on October 30th. 


Accepting with Keystone Juniors

After you have accepted a position with Keystone Juniors, you will need to send an email to AND 

Please specify the subject of the email to read: Accepting to Play for Keystone Juniors (team). For example: Subject: Accepting to Play for Keystone Juniors 17s.

Club directors will contact you regarding uniform orders, club tuition and parent meeting information.

Parents & Players Meeting

A MANDATORY parents AND players meeting will take place via Zoom. This will take place on different days in November. A schedule will be sent out to each team. 

There will be NO trying on Club Uniforms this season. We are going to do our best to limit contact and keep everything in small groups.
